Fall is a great time of year to explore leaves. This year, Get Kids Outside teamed up with the Lakeview Library to present “Leaf Magic.” On October 8, kids met at the library for leaf rubbings and leaf collages and learned about different leaves and trees. On October 22, kids met at Warner Park for a tour of trees and leaves and learned why they turn colors. Kids even got to dip their leaves in wax to preserve them over the winter. Many thanks to Kathlean Wolf for leading the event at Warner Park.
