Leaf Magic Part 1

Join us at the Lakeview Library for an exploration of all things leaves! We'll do leaf rubbings, leaf collages and learn about different leaves. Bring your favorite leaf to share and identify. This event is free. No registration is required. Just show up.

Kids Free Fishing Day

Learn to fish and get a free fishing pole and tackle box (for first 300 kids)!  This is an annual event sponsored by the Yahara Fishing Club. Kids will learn how to fish and get a free hot dog lunch. Registration  

Learn to Ice Fish

Brittingham Park 829 W. Washington Ave., Madison, WI

Learn to ice fish at this annual event sponsored by the Yahara Fishing Club. Kids receive a free fishing pole and gear to fish through the ice. Holes are pre-drilled for you and volunteers will help you learn to fish. Afterwards, enjoy hot cocoa and a hotdog.
